A short play at gymboree (Tropicana City Mall)

Gymboree ... a place for kids to explore & develop their brains by playing some game tools that are specially designed here

It's very easy to spend an hour while each of us has different tasks ... daddy takes photos, mommy takes videos & boy boy plays as much as he can, haha whatever boy boy does & wherever he goes, we all have to follow him to have some good snaps, then how about the safety? no worries at all, cos this place has been designed with all rubber mats & mattresses that will protect the kids from falling down ... parents & kids can just enjoy every second here peacefully

At gymboree, this centre believes that the kids can cetegorise into few levels according to their ages, we have no time to go through what is written on the wall cos we were paying attention for snaps, anyhow believe or not .... erm see how you have been approached to this hehehe

Anyway, paying attention daily on your kid's behavior is the best way, at least you could know what your kid does everyday & what is stored in his mind, for example:

Boy boy knows to play with jumping rope just because he saw this before in the video clip as we always play for him in youtube

Similar right? Once we saw the jump rope, we already know boy boy will come to join us cos he already knew what is that & how is it play, kids' brain are just like unpredictable how strong it is, until you discover it

Just wonder why basketball is one of the games, we just simply show boy boy how to put the ball into the ring, then he starts "imitate" what you have shown & played until he felt boring .... hahah mayb we should show him how to shoot but not how to put

hahahahah .... that's why ppl always say "ibu borek, anak rintik", look at the picture then you all will know why kids always have "behavior inheritance" from parents cos the kids just copy what parents tell & show them .... can hear these two fellows laughing thr? hahahaha

conclusion at gymboree: we don't know how it helps kids to develop their brain, but maybe it is a good place for parents & kids to spend their time, it's not easy to find a shaded & spacious space for us to play together nowadays, some more we no worry about the safety here, so ..... it's recommended if your kids have nothing to do & looking for a place to spend time

entrance fee: RM 20 per hour (one hour already more than enough for you to spend thr)

Tze Qian's favourites

Sometimes I wonder whether kids are having the same favourites or not
What I can know is that ... if Tze Qian loves something, he will keep smiling at you, dancing & showing 1 finger (it means good as told by my friend)

Playing water is one of his favourites all the time, once you let him see the swimming pool or anything that can contain water in large amount, he will urge you to let him go into the pool to play, automatically once you say "go bong bong loooo", he will come to you & let you put off everything ... make him naked hahahah

See, how naughty he is when he already got into the water, he will do a lot of funny faces to tell you that he already got what he demanded & he stops crying & friend friend with you again .... too realistic right? haha
oh ya, the water pipe? you are right, he is playing in the cold water, what I think it's time for him to be trained in cold water, so he could adopt to any environment a.s.a.p & strengthen his antibody ... kids nowadays quite "fragile" as what I think, therefore we do manythings to strengthen his antibody so he could protect his own away from any virus & bacterias perhaps ...

This video shows how the muscles move when he is moving ..... he doesn't feel pain even when he sits down with direct impact (reason: his buttock already installed a strong shock absorber), so since he started walking, we no need to worry if hell fell down with his butt, cos he will laugh some more, but of cos not fall down with head, that one will make him cry until the house collapse

Tze Qian's friend, Jayden

Let's introduce tze qian's friend, Jayden (ai ling's sweet heart)

This is the second time jayden came visit tze qian (cos ai ling & bee yong aunty bought some presents for both tze qian & tze qing), what can be done by these 2 kids when meeting each other? hahaha tze qian took out all the toys to share with jayden (erm ... a bit argue when they don't want to share the same toy haha)

Anyway, tze qian has to say sorry to jayden cos he accidently used to much of energy & pushed jayden, caused him fell down & knock his head, perhaps jayden doesn't mind cos tze qian still can't control his power so far, "jayden, you will still come visit me ho?" - by tze qian

Perhaps these two boys will be very good friend in the future, study together, play together, punish ppl together when saw a bully, work together .... wish these 2 boys good health always & happy always

Confinement

Mommy's confinement month is going to be ended tomorrow, 21/5/2011, mommy seems like taken well rest because she can now moving here & there (even faster than me haha)
During the confinement month, mommy has done few things to make sure she is taking well care, for example:
Malay traditional massage - where a malay lady will come to our house, the massage will be done in closed room, malays believe that traditional massage could help in uterus contraction, therefore mommy could recover faster & well (even our gynae doesn't believe this, in the other words, mommy's health condition is good enough for her to get recover so fast, cos mommy already can walk here & there few days after delivery), but there is one thing that I impressed the most, once the massage has been done, the breast milk will keep flowing unstoppable cos once the blood circulation flows well, the breast milk will be easier to flow out
Drinking water - no plain water in the confinement month (chinese believe that plain water is "wind" or cold, hehe I also can't understand this), therefore we got to cook "red dates water" everyday to replace the drinking water, luckily the red dates water not so sweet, otherwise I might disagree such tradition cos too sweet not good for health ma, it's well known
Dish - no cooking oil could be used in the cooking, therefore "sesame oil" is the best to replace it, reason?? I don't know also, from what I know is sesame oil could remove the "wind" in the body .... aih, all these I never learn in science, I don't even teach my students about this, so I really don't know how to explain all these so called traditions hehe
Dessert - organic soya bean, banana milk shake & papaya milk shake, all these substances believe to help mommy to produce more breast milk & prevent constipation, constipation is a common problem for mommy who just deliver, so daddy should prepare those drinks which easier for absorption to mommy everyday (at least once every 3 days lo)
Entertainment - the only entertainment at home is .... dang dang dang dang, one man show by our boy boy, cos he will dance or do something funny, then mommy will keep laughing & forget all the tireness she has ... happy is the best way to mommy in mental recovery, it helps to prevent any "mental sickness" after deliver, family plays a very important role in recovering mommy's mental, as a daddy, try to make sure mommy doesn't have any headache or too tired during the confinement, be aware
erm ... what else I miss? will update again if I found anything missing here, enjoy being daddy & mommy!

Our gynae named Dr Loo .... erm a gentleman, with slow & steady movements (my wife said he has patience instead of slow wo), he can explain to you everything you ask, no tension when meeting this doctor, he is experience enough from our view

Let's move to another specialist ...
Child Specialist - Dr Chan
The clinic is just located same row with Dr Loo, just few doors walking distance
For easier determination, just recall your memory when is the pervious IOI property sales office & NESH (water treatment company), all these are just located same row, aiya meaning they are very easy to seek only

How do I feel about these doctors?
They are young (but of cos older & experience than me lo), they will give you the right information that we might misunderstood so far, for example: fever not really will burn the brain, if it is  not virus infection to the brain, fever is just a process where your body is "training" its antibody against the virus in the body, thus the antibody will be stronger in the future, it's a must process so don't worry too much when a kid is having fever if it is not virus infection to the brain

So far we don't have their potraits, maybe one day I should bring along my camera & take some photos with them heheheh
perhaps they won't complain us "ka ka cau cau" hahahaha

My Princess ... Tze Qing

While everyone is sleeping in this late night (early morning), let me introduce my princess

Tze Qing is the second child in our family, she borns on 23rd of April & she is going to "fullmoon" this sunday, so everyone will come to have a simple celebration while see see how's girl girl has grown
A small secret to tell everyone, there are three "cows" in our family .... mommy & girl girl are taurus, while boy boy is a "cow" too, therefore all these cows having the same tempers .... what temper?? NO PATIENCE lo, tak boleh tunggu, once want this, means want it now, no matter it could be done or not, scary right? hahahaha by the way, these cows still making a lot of fun at home, cos they have the same attitude "easy come, easy go" hehe

Can determine that this photo actually showing that our girl girl just born? hehehe she was not sending for shower yet, but the nurse allowed to take as many photos as we can in the labour room ... talking about the labour room, as a daddy (mommy already forgotten what happened that day, cos too pain), just wondering why everytime when you see the baby is coming out from the birth canal, the tears will drop automatically (mommy didn't see of cos, hehe), the feelings just so complicated, happy cos both mommy & girl girl are having good condition, tears come out cos the heart feel pain when looking at mommy, she is pain but I can't do anything except giving support (for new daddy, this is very important as it helps a lot when your wife is ready to give birth) .... erm, there are many more things to share int he labour room, but will describe more upon request le, else I can't stop describing here hahaha, oh ya girl girl is 2.95 kg when she is born, compare to her gor gor, 3.34 kg, oh ... she is feather weight for us hahahha

For new daddy & mommy who still looking for medical centre to give birth, I think we would highly recommend you Sunway Medical Centre .... natural birth costs you below RM 4k (both boy boy & girl girl also natural birth), which we think the charges are reasonable in a "less tension" environment, hygiene, friendly nurses and so on, and if you would like to have a single room, make sure you register before 7am, else all the single rooms will be fully taken (all daddy also want to sayang mommy because mommy so pain in delivering ma), if you "forced" to take the double bedded room, erm .... mommy will feel restless because the other lady who is sharing room with mommy, both of them will keep interrupting each other, cos the nurse needs to measure their blood pressure, this & that during the night after delivery

That's all for this late night, I think I need to find some photos, to compare whether both boy boy & girl girl actually look similiar or not (some said all children are the same when they are born) ... good night everyone!

My Prince ... Tze Qian

Let's introduce to you, my prince - Tze Qian, erm ... how to pronounce is a common problem for non chinese educated sometimes, in mandarin is 子谦, which means this naughty boy got to be humble as we wish, so far he doesn't have any english name because his mommy said let him choose by himself when he is grown up later wo, but his name tag in school will be T.Q. Ngu la, hahaha mayb he will come to ask us "daddy mommy, why people like to use my name when they end their sms, they sure put T.Q. one?" ... how to answer? don't care 1st le, this naughty boy can do anything to make you laugh one, everything goes natural le

This boy boy borns one year ngam ngam after our wedding (no need to show the picturee on the wedding day to prove gua, show upon request lo haha), he borns at 3.34 kg, he is now 18 months, but the main point is - he is now 15 kg (measured 2 months ago) hahaha .... most ppl said it's genetic, cos my grand family until my generation, all besar besar belaka one, don't ask me why, mayb the main reason is the culture gua, we come from Sitiawan (mostly hok chiew), hok chiew ppl normally serve their dishes in big portion, maybe this makes everyone looks like "The Rock" in Sitiawan (I'm innocent one) hehe

Oh ya ... back to the point about this boy boy
He is a good entertainer, he can perform or act something funny in front of many ppl without shame, a simple music can make him dance, & the moves he shows always can make us laugh until rolling on the floor

In the video, he can feel the beat when the drums hit, that's why he will hit the tv rack, then once jacky cheung starts singing, he will start "dandut" his butt, hands & other parts of his body to tell us he is dancing .... unbelievable, a 18 month kid can dance like this, because from what my parents told us, "you all "ngong ngong" (in hok kien mean stupid) when you were small, where got dance when music plays one", hahaha it hurts right? because they said "you are ngong ngong", but anyway we still feel very happy because at least our boy boy is not ngong ngong, he is just too smart & makes us feel like we got to be smarter sometimes haha

What? Looks like gangster? hahaha just because his hair is short only & the way he walks, anyway the apperance like this is good also, the students nowadays behave so bad in school right, "now one slap, later one slice", "one drop of tear, one slap", all these statements are famous in newspapres nowadays, therefore we got to train our boy boy looks fierce, but heart likes a buddha, so he can protect himself & also protect the weaker one (erm, watched too much marveral heroes already) ...
